Having recently moved I can't believe how much better this surgery is , appointments with your Doctor of choice are available within a reasonable time. The receptionists are polite and helpful - in my view this is a role model practice.

The person who asked me to enter my views was one of two Practice Nurses a Diabetes Specialist Nurse. I have had type 2 diabetes for over 20 years and for many of those years PN 'Jas' Dadhra has been my sole consultant on said illness. I sincerely believe that no high ranking specialist could have controlled my diabetes better and in so pleasant a manner. I'm sure that all her patients share my opinion. My Chosen GP at the surgery, DR K Teasdale, also ranks highly in my esteem. She is prepared to listen to my 'self diagnose's'and sometimes agree with them, unlike a lot of doctor's I've known, who would ignore the patient's views and not share their own. The other nurse, PN 'Liz' Brady, specializes in respiratory problems. i have only had one appointment with her as yet, but as a COPD sufferer will probably see more of her soon. The reception and back room staff have always been more polite and less pompous than those usually found in such positions. All round I rate this surgery very highly.

The GP I see at this surgery always treats you as an individual, is kind, friendly and understanding. I never feel rushed, she is a great listener, empathetic and very popular at the surgery. Sometimes it is hard to get an appointment with her because of this. The receptionists are always very helpful, friendly and polite and you don't feel it is a battle to get an appointment which I've experienced before in another surgery in London.

Over the years the doctors, nurses and staff at Pond Tail surgery have provided us with exceptional care. Dr Teasdale is helpful, cheerful, efficient and interested. I consider we are most fortunate to have all the services that Pond Tail surgery provides. I could live without the radio 'noise' - a minor point. Patient privacy at reception could be improved, but I am not sure how, with space at a premium. We have always been able to book an appointment easily and staff are usually able to book an emergency appointment in a case of urgent need. A great advantage would be to have the surgery open, even briefly, at weekends. In the past, it was possible to see a doctor on Saturday morning. Such provision, however, is expensive and may not be possible in the current climate.
